How to Apply for a Poland Student Visa

poland student visa

A Poland student visa is the initial step to studying in Poland. If you are from an EU country, no visa is necessary; however, if not, make sure all necessary documents are obtained prior to arriving.

Applying for a Poland student visa must be done through the Polish embassy or consulate in your country, which you can locate on the website of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Complete the application form and arrange an appointment via e-Konsulat (the official website of the embassy). Moreover, make sure all required documentation is collected, set a date for your interview, and ensure you are present during that time.

Candidates must present proof of their educational qualifications and guarantor documents. Furthermore, they must possess enough funds to cover both their stay in Poland and any additional expenses during the duration of their studies.

In order to apply, applicants must possess a valid passport valid for at least 6 months after their intended trip date. Furthermore, an invitation letter from a sponsor is necessary.

Once you possess all of the necessary documents, submit them to your nearest embassy or consulate. Make sure to present both a printed and signed application form along with proof of payment for any visa fees.

After your visa interview, you should expect a decision within two weeks. Your application will be assessed based on answers you provided to questions about past trips, the university where you plan to study, housing/work arrangements and educational sponsors.
