World Education Fair 2017

world education fair 2017

At this event, students seeking higher education in other countries can meet various university representatives to clarify admission requirements, apply for scholarships and gain other information – while having an informal conversation with each representative in a friendly atmosphere.

SDUST went beyond simply promoting its academic programs to also actively promoting its international exchange programme, benefitting prospective students as well as the school itself by learning more about their needs and designing more tailored programmes.

Organisers of World Education Fair 2017 recognize it as an indispensable platform for educational institutions to recruit international students, while simultaneously helping prospective students find suitable universities and courses. Going forward, more events will be hosted to foster international cooperation.

Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, over 6200 participants from 95 countries joined us virtually for our largest conference ever in 2022. Sessions and campfires focused on the theme “Encompassing all Voices”, taking inspiration from Finland’s inclusive and equitable education system. Keynote speakers like Simon Anholt and Aminata Cairo delivered powerful speeches designed to inspire participants towards creating an inclusive and caring world. A virtual Community Exchange programme coordinated by EAIE also enabled participants to connect with fellow colleagues online or at work as well as discuss timely subjects like virtual exchange or European Universities Initiative initiatives.
