Develops, plans and implements goals, objectives, strategies, policies and procedures for District-wide student education abroad opportunities and faculty-led programs; develops new programs and services; responds to inquiries from College faculty, departments and students; conducts research and policy development with regards to risk and crisis management for education abroad, in coordination with PCC’s risk management office; manages daily operations of education abroad; prepares and delivers presentations and workshops; assists faculty with program design, scholarship advising and pre-departure orientation. Responsible for evaluating student learning through written reports, practical assignments, research papers and, for Master’s, dissertations. Works closely with campus and community organizations to promote international experiences for students.
