The Star Education Fair 2017 is Malaysia’s biggest education fair with an attendance of over 65,000 attendees – offering students the chance to explore both local and overseas study options.
At this year’s fair, attendees can also attend free seminars and webinar sessions hosted by industry experts on topics including the latest trends in education, university selection process and much more. Attendees can sign up for these events and have all their queries addressed.
Raymond Munesinghe, senior manager at HELP University, explained that this fair provides school leavers an opportunity to find an educational path tailored specifically to their strengths and interests, while taking advantage of special promotions like registration rebates on tuition fees.
He added that for the first time in its history, this year the organisers have decided to go virtual by teaming up with Uni Enrol – with an aim to making physical fairs more accessible to people unable to travel there – thus expanding access to this year’s event.
Soon to launch is the website of this fair, where attendees can register to attend. In addition, information will also be made available regarding scholarship opportunities offered by participating institutions and Star Education Fund manager Susanna Kuan will be on hand to answer any inquiries regarding them; three former scholars will also host talks to provide guidance for prospective applicants.
