TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is an exam renowned among students planning to study abroad. It tests candidates on their English language abilities – reading, listening, speaking and writing. TOEFL exams can be taken anywhere in the world at authorized test centers or taken online from home using computers; to register for it candidates need only select the test date/center that suits their needs best and submit proof of identification such as their passport before being admitted into testing rooms.
The TOEFL exam fee in India depends on the type of test and service chosen by students. Students may pay using credit/debit cards, electronic checks, PayPal, paycheck or money orders via mail or phone; applicants who cancel at least four days before their original test date will receive half their TOEFL exam fees back processed in US dollars back into their original payment method.
Students taking the TOEFL can select which universities they would like their scores sent to for an additional USD 100 or INR 7,953. Test takers have the option of canceling their results free of charge should they wish not to have them rescheduled or refunded; this process can take up to 30 days.
