If you’re planning to study in Canada, you’ll need to prepare for the IELTS exam. This exam is designed to measure your ability to understand, read, and write English. It’s a four-module test that takes approximately 2 hours 45 minutes to complete. In addition to the reading and writing sections, you’ll also take a speaking test, which is conducted in person with an examiner. The speaking test can be taken one week before or after the other sections.

If you’re planning on studying in Canada, you need to have an IELTS score of at least 7.0. This is the minimum score required to enroll in university. The exam is available both online and offline, and is accepted by most universities in Canada. To study in Canada, you’ll need to pass the IELTS General Training exam and score a band equal to or higher than the requirements set by the Immigration and Refugee Council (IRCC).
